What is installation procedure for SAP AIF and what are the prerequesits

Hi Experts ,

We are planing to implement SAP application interface frame work. .

Please let us know how to implement the AIF .

1. What are the prerequisite for the implement the AIF.(SAP ECC required or SAP PI required ).

2. How to get the AIF component in SAP marketplace .while exiting sap user we are not finding the AIF component in sap marketplace .

3 .What is procedure to use AIF component.

4. What type's of interfaces we can handle .

Please let us explain the procedure for installation and development.
