By checkin 'Terminate if rule resolution has no result' in PFAC , you can find your solution

    • Hello Mrinal

Get the position ID of initiator using FM BAPI_USER_GET_DETAIL and pass the same in the Rule binding. Bidn it with &POSITION_ID&

Also check if WF-BATCH has SAP_ALL authorisation. The agent determination in rule might be failing due to missing HR authorization .Switch on the trace via ST01 for WF_BATCH and check the results.

    Hi Mrinal,

If the work item reached all users inbox, it means the agent determination is failed to get agents.

In SWIA workflow log, select the dialog work item and check the agent.

Also when creating rule, there is a check box as 'Terminate if rule resolution has no result'. Just tick the check box and check the workflow. This option will set the workflow status to error. So the work item will not be send to all approvers.

Please check the workflow technical log and check container of workflow rule.

I think, rule did not return any agents.

For that approval task, please check agent assignments. Please restrict to specific group in agent assignment [user/role etc. ]

    • Thanks Rushikesh ,

While i am simulating the custom rule it's properly returning agents . What i did , I create container in rule and passed wf-intitiator to reviewer container created in rule and bind it in (wf->rule con) .Is this right approach i am doing . Please find attach screen shot of Rule binding .
