I am reporting on a multiprovider and the cell value for one infoobject on the report appears with a green triangle on the upper left corner. when i click on that cell i get a messgae stating "The number in this cell is formatted as text or preceded by an apostrophe". what should be done to get rid of this.

Hi Centrino,

Use Excel menu path: Tools-Options, Error checking tab, uncheck 'Number stored as text' flag.

Best regards,

Eugene

Hi Centrino,

What you mention is actually an excel property, nothing to do with BEx. Try to change the property of the cell(s) in which you are getting this value.

Hope this helps...

Hi Centrino,

Excel is trying to tell you that the number that you have in the cell is being considered as a text. What you can try out is, highlight the cell and from the Excel menu > Format > Cells. Try making it a number.

Hope this helps...
