BOM Sub items COPA not required at SD Invoicing

Hi Members,

I had a question on how to restrict COPA cost value on BOM Sub items(components) not to trigger at the time billing document creation

Only Main Item to be COPA updated on cost and not required on components

Hi,

I am not sure if you can restrict it. If the BOM components are relevant for pricing then those values will also post to COPA. I believe this should be a CO question though. Getting with CO consultant may help.

Also, i was wondering how will pricing on the billing document be. Will it have BOM and its components in the billing docs and all the component prices rolled up to the BOM main item? or BOM main item will have a different price and its components will be priced separately?

In any case i don't see a way to do it unless you go for system modification which i am not sure how it will react.
