0PM_OM_OPA_2 Datasource

Dear Experts,

I am using the datasource 0PM_OM_OPA_2 to extract actual costs data for Maintenance Orders.

I am also using 0PM_OM_OPA_1 getting the costs data. OPA_1 is fetching me all the orders with costs whereas OPA_2 always returns zero records in RSA3. What could the possible reason be? If anyone has experience with these datasources, should I get Plan and Actual costs from both as it is done in the BI Content DSO 0PM_DS04 or I read in some places that I need to get Plan data from OPA_1 and Actual data from OPA_2?

Request your support on this issue.

Thanks & Regards,

    Dear Ardy

You should only use 0PM_OM_OPA_2 for getting the order details. 0PM_OM_OPA_1 allows only full load while 0PM_OM_OPA_2 provides delta capabilities.

    Hi Ardy,

Although the number at the end of the DataSource does not correspond, it looks similar to the equivalent 0CO_OM DataSources.

I suggest to use DataSource 0PM_OM_OPA_2 for the Actual Costs and Allocations. Compared to 0PM_OM_OPA_1 it is delta-enabled so better to use.

For all other Values Types than Actual (e.g. Plan) I suggest to use DataSource 0PM_OM_OPA_2. I do not expect this data to be delivered by DataSource 0PM_OM_OPA_2.

For Commitment data you can use DataSource 0PM_OM_OPA_3.

    Best regards,
