Issue in Section

Hi All,

we are using SAP BO4.1 for reprot development

have a report requirement in the format attached.

have achieved the logic but we have some formatting issue in section part.

the report development description is------

Dimension1--- contains main Business details

Dimension2-- contains Sub business details

Date -- Contains 5 months of data (Current month +past 4 months)

Metric1 --- contains measures

Metric2 --- contains measures

Metric3 --- contains measures

Metric4 --- contains measures

in the report , main Section is applied on Dimension1 and sub section is applied on dimension2

metrics values are displayed for the date fields(5months) for each sub business section in the main business

i have acheived the report format along with the original requirement.

in our requirement, we need to display a title for each table based on a conditions applied on

the data available in the table.but the title condition should consider the values for the current month alone. based on the

current month data available in the table, the title should be displayed in the section irrespective of data

available for the past months.

we have created the conditions for the title diplaying .

generally when we use section,the elements whichever added in the section will be repeated

to all the tables under the section.

this is the issue in our report.

for example,

the condition variable is --

V_Cond1= if( [Metric1]>500 and [Metric2]>500 and [date]=currentmonth;"ABC";

if( [Metric1]<500 and [Metric2]<500 and [date]=currentmonth;"CCD"))

V_Title= [V_Cond1] where ([date]=Max([date] in report))

since 2 different sub business in the same main business meets the same condition, the title is

repeated for both the table in the same main business. but we need to display only one title .

please give us some workaround idea to hide the title cell for the particular part in

our report.

the report is atatched in the post.

Thanks in advance
