Order proposal grouping in SAP F&R

Hi,

What is order proposal horizon? Is it the period of which forecast will be considered to generate orders or orders will be generated for this period only?

Please help me.

    Hi,

Can we restrict replenishment horizon on product location combination? E.g. for how many days orders will be generated?

      Hi

I am sure it should be possible by using the above field.

You can maintain the respective horizon in the above give field and SAP F&R will create the plan according to it.

You can perform the mass changes of Master data in F&R using /FRE/MASS_MATLOC - Maintain Location Products .

      Thanks

      Amol

    Hi,

we are using order forecast horizon field. It creates only order forecast for the period maintained in field (order forecast horizon). This is only forecast (OFC time series) and not actual orders. As far as I know there is no standard functionality to create orders for the future. We have consulted with SAP and they proposed to create a Z solution to generate orders from order forecast data. We developed one, but we use it only in case of emergency, when todays orders fails for any reason.

    Best regards,

    Eduard
