Function Module to create new Customer Payment term (TCodes: OBB8, OBB9)

I am having one requirement regarding Customer Payment term creation (Sales order - Terms of Payment Key).

My requirement is to develope a custom program to store Customer payment term in standard tables (similar to TCodes OBB8 & OBB9).

Is there any standard Function module to meet the above requirement or should I go with manual tables updation.

Please suggest.
