Hi Expert,

I am trying to craete BRF+ Rules(Initiator/Agent) using Define Workflow Related MSMP Rules which generating fine.

I wanted to include all rules in custom Application in BRF+ and Transport the application to Quality but whenever I am craeting rules it is added in standard Application "Access Request Appro".

How to include all rules in one Application(Say Z_ACCESS_REQUEST)?

How to Tarnsport application along with all the objects?

In the attcahed screen print:

Z_AGENT_COMPAPR is Agent Rule

Z_INITIATOR_TBHUSHAN is Initiator

Z_CUSTOM is Application craeted.

I want to add these rules in the application Z_CUSTOM.

Appreciate your quick respons.

Thanks,

Trinetra

Hi Trinetra,

You have to maintain the needed application text in field 'Override BRF+ Application Text' when you generate the MSMP Rule (Define Workflow Related MSMP Rules in SPRO).

Hi Sajib,

Thanks for the reply.

I tried the apporach and again for each rule new application is created.

What I want as end result is to add all rules in single function:

Please let em know if you have the solution.

Thanks,

Sorry, I missed the second part of your question earlier. In the MSMP Rule Generation screen (in SPRO), use the same names on field 'Application/Func. Group Name' and 'Override BRF+ Application Text' respectively for each rule generation. E.g.,

1)

Application/Func. Group Name: Z_TEST

Override BRF+ Application Text: Z_TEST_TEXT

Rule Kind: Agent Rule

2)

Application/Func. Group Name: Z_TEST

Override BRF+ Application Text: Z_TEST_TEXT

Rule Kind: Routing Rule

Points will be highly appreciated.

Sajib.

Hi Trinetra,

Let me share my experience of uniting all functions under one application.

Once I used Madhu Babu's blog about BRF+ and I found that when I used one application for all functions they didn't work properly, but as soon as I devided them into independent applications they worked fine. I don't know what it was, maybe some bugs in previous SPs.

Of course, I agree with your conception to unity all logical bound components under one umbrella.

Hi Artem,

Thanks for sharing your experience. Could you elaborate please? What issue you ran into? Do you remember the SP?

Hi Sajib,

This method work but while creating the second rule I get warning message as "Name Z_TEST has already used".

I guess whiel creating new rules all signals shoudl be in green for avoiding any issue sin future is it will be any issue going forward ,ahve you tried it and it was working fine in realt time scenario?

Thanks,

Hi Trinetra,

Unfortunately, I have not done this but I think you can ignore the warnings as long as your rules are defined separately, independent of each other. Ultimately, you need the unique Rule IDs for the MSMPs, but not the Application ID. May be Artem could shed some light on this.

Sajib.
