Hi all,
I have looked through many notes and discussions and no solution has fixed my problem yet, here are reference notes I have looked through and more: http://scn.sap.com/people/markus.meisl/blog/2006/11/03/the-most-important-sap-notes-for-sap-interact...
I am on a Mac OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.2, but I have also tried on a virtualized Windows 7 system from same computer. We are running SAP ECC 6.0 EHP7, EP 7.3
The problem is when initiating any HCM processes and form (e.g. Request termination ESS, Organizational Processes in MSS, etc.) from HR Admin, MSS, or ESS, I get 2 errors:
#1 Adobe Reader latest version error
#2 Flash control not responding
What I have done to correct: 1) Adobe Reader XI is fully updated to 11.0.10, 2) enabled and set to default Chrome Adobe/Java plug-ins, 3) enabled and always activated Safari Adobe/Java plug-ins, and 4) activated internet settings in Adobe Reader preferences.
The problem persists on Windows or Mac and any web browser on both operating systems. Below you will see the screenshot error from Portal and my internet plug-in settings.
Thanks for the help - points awarded for solving this error.

Hi Nick,
For Problem #1:
I think the issue is though you have installed Adobe the form is still using the MAC preview while viewing the form. Try File>Open to open the PDF option f that helps and also have a look at the below link
https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/142056?hl=en-GB
For Problem #2:
If you're accessing the portal from Citrix browser check the if the flash player plug-in is installed on the server and for the the browsers too.
Also check if the service in SICF transaction code is active
default_host/sap/public/BusinessSuite
And clear the adobe cache as per the sap note 2027285 - How to clear the Adobe Flash Player cache.
Regards,
Prithviraj.
Hi Prithviraj,
Thanks for the reply. Your solution to Problem#2 is irrelevant because we don't use Citrix, however the solution to #1 seemed to fix Flash Control problem. However, new problem:
Problem #3:
I cleared cache (per the following link) and disabled browser plug-in in Mac/Library/Internet Plug-Ins by dragging default browser plug in to Mac/Library/Internet Plug-Ins disabled.
http://pchlotto.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/554/~/how-do-i-clear-my-flash-player-cache%3F
The new error I get is below. Even though I have accepted End User License Agreement, I still get this error. i couldn't find any SAP note on this issue.
Hi Nick,
Please follow below steps and check if that solves the issue for you.

2. From Finder > Go > Go to Folder... > type in the path : /Applications/ and hit 'Go'
