Deactivate Input Proposals, e.g. in SE93

Dear all,

since the update to EHP7 for SAP ERP 6.0 we get in some fields input proposals, e.g. SU24 for transactions or SE93. Means we start typing SP and it shows a list of 10 transactions starting with SP. If you press backspace, the "normal" history values are shown.

Is there any way to deactivate these input proposals?

Hi Peter,

Please follow this

Goto the Customising of local layout(Last Icon)  from any Tcode in the Standard Tool Bar...

then Options---> Local data ---> History.

thanks for your quick reply. That´s what I called "normal" history. But it has no effect on these input proposals.

I want to turn off this:

Going to ALT+F12 ,and changeing the history to off and clear history .

It is working for me

After doing this and clear history , I am not able to see history in se38 program input feild.

what you describe is exactly how it should not work. We would like to have the history enabled, but proposals deactivated.

If I turn off history, proposals are still coming.

Dear Peter,

To deactivate the input proposal, call transaction SDSH_CONFIG.

Deactivate the "Use Proposal Search for Input Fields" option.
