Error while saving/releasing Maintenance order

Field 'work involved in activity ' must still be filled

Try investigate through SE91 where-used list by giving IW in the Message Class field and 464 in Number field. You will get the Programs list. IF you find Z includes in the output that means some user-exits are using this error. Possible it is related to this. (Because this message takes the field name dynamically from the program it is used).

Hello Sandeep,

I could simulate your error. It is because of this setting in Configuration setting OIOPD. (Path: Maintenance and Service Processing > Maintenance and Service Orders > Define Field Selection for Order Operation (PM and CS) > Field Selection for Detail Screen )

If you change this to first radio-button (Input) , the error should go.

I have checked that to It is not made mandatory

the input radio button only clicked

Check inside Influencing  button for specific settings for  Order type or Control key.

But that was the identical error I am getting through OIOPD mandatory setting.

It is about AFVGD-ARBEI field set mandatory somewhere.

You can maintain calculation key, to calculate the hours based on duration or work.
