Freight cost getting loaded on stock value not working continuously. Warehouse 90 (Nettable), Stock Item, Freight Distribution method is on row total, With this setting sometime fright is getting loaded on item cost after AP invoice and sometime its not getting loaded on item stock value. One point to be noted is when it's not loading cost that case items default warehouse is drop ship 88 warehouse but I am using Nettable warehouse 90 for complete transaction. Is this known bug or its depends on something else?.

Dear Rupesh,

In the freight setup window check whether Stock check box is selected and freight distribution method has been assigned. Both things already done properly. I have attached here screenshot for clear understanding. This concept already I knew.

Dear Chintan & Rupesh,

What you are telling about drop ship warehouse I know already. If you read my original message carefully then you will understand here my issue is user is using 90 (Nettable which is real warehouse) warehouse in documents and causing the issue that freight cost not getting loaded on stock value. Sometime getting loaded and sometime not getting loaded. Performance is not consistence. I have not told that user has used drop ship warehouse. I told about drop ship warehouse is that this warehouse is kept default in item master data but in actual transaction another warehouse used that is 90 (Which is Nettable real warehouse) which is not drop ship. See my attached screenshot. Hope you both understand now my query.

Hi,

In that case you need to check which freight code they are using when cost added to cost and which freight code which are not adding cost.

Basically freight set has an option to add cost on stock value. Make sure non deductible must be 100% on the freight code you want to add on cost.

Hope it helps.

Dear Chintan,

Actually I have reproduced the issue. Which freight I am using already attached in my original initial text. Also attached herewith freight set-up of that freight code for better understanding. For both cases cost added and cost not added same freight code with same freight set-up used. In freight set-up stock tick box have ticked for sure. So I mean to say almost everything is properly set-up but still there is issue.

Hi Yogesh,

Dropship warehouse is virtual warehouse which actually does not holds any inventory for the company.

Because of which no Inventory postings are created for the same. Please refer the following link for more information on dropship warehouse.

Hi Yogesh,

It's not a bug it's system behavior.

Drop ship mean you are not keeping stock in warehouse and you are just getting commission from your supplier to shipping goods out to your customer.

So no stock receipt recorded on system hence no freight value added on cost.

Hope it helps.

Chintan
