Hi All,
we are in SRM 7 , ECS senario ,we Need to delete shopping cart work item from user inbox,
status of shopping cart is Approved and Item status is Item in Transfer Process ,
So to achieve this I have tried Logical Deletion of Work item but no luck,
Even I have work item completed manually in SWIA , still it is showing in user inbox ,
when I check SWI5 workload analysis work item not exits for that user,
Current status of work item is completed , even I tried BBP_PD_SC_STATUS_CHANGE_DIRECT
also not worked.
Please suggest what is the way to get ride of this.
Many Thanks,
Venkat
Hi Venkata
One last thing apart from what Sandy suggested .. you could ask the user to refresh his inbox .. and a portal person also to help refreshing the user's inbox ..
Coz if it is not in the backend it should in no way show up in the user's inbox ..
Keep us posted on how you fixed it .

I think we need to think from perspective of shopping cart first.
If it is approved, and it is in transfer process; Means due to some reason, it has not been converted to PO.
So we need to change the status of shopping cart using /SAPSRM/* FM to in approval and again by using FM we need to make it approved.
If user has created new shopping cart for this, we can go by FM SWW_WI_ADMIN_CANCEL stated above.
But the same FM gets triggered while using option logically delete. You can try.

Dear All,
Thank you for suggestions on this ,
1. not having access to above mentioned function modules .
2. I have screen shot of user inbox , SC still in user inbox.
3. in SWI5 particular work item is not exits in all users who involved in approval process.
I think due to SC item status ' Item in Transfer process' I am are not able to remove this work item ,
logical Deletion also not working for this.

Hello Venkata,
This issue is quite strange ! I suggest if nothing works try forwarding the work item to Workflow administrator or Custom Support Team member to resolve the issue. You can use Transaction SWIA for forwarding the work item. This would atleast remove it from business users inbox and then you can investigate the issue.
You can also try to raise an OSS message for this issue. May be the workitem is locked.

Sandy
Hi Venkata,
Take the workitem ID which you want to delete, and then execute FM - SWW_WI_ADMIN_CANCEL.
Hope this will delete the workitem from user's inbox.
Also, afer executing this FM, use SWU_OBUF.
Rewards points if useful

Hi,
in SRM 7.0, you need to find function modules /SAPSRM/* to re-trigger the workflow.
or in change mode, you need to change the shopping cart so that workflow will re trigger and redetermine the agents. .
Otherwise, you need to move such work items to WF_ADMIN user.

Hi Venkat
Please check this article I had written.
May be you are not handling the dialog step ..
First go to SWI5 and find the Work item ID which is needed to be deleted and then using that go to SWIA and follow the instructions in the article as below ..
scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-53643
Let me know if this helps ?

In Transaction SWIA, try Goto->Technical Workitem Display->EDIT->CHange->Delete Logically.
Run transaction SWU_OBUF and then ask user to refresh the Inbox or re-login to refresh.

Hello,
"we Need to delete shopping cart work item from user inbox,"
"when I check SWI5 workload analysis work item not exits for that user,"
If the workitem is not showing in SWI5 for that user then it is not in that user's inbox.
Get them to prove that it is with a dated screenshot after a refresh.
