B1 cloud can't register Prestation server

Hi experts,

I'm installing a B1 cloud on Hana.

My problem is that when I try to register a presentation server i get the error "SLD Agent Service not found..."

But I have installed the SLD Agent successfully on the serveur, and I can see it in the lit in the "SLD Agents" menu on the cloud control center web interface.

Any idea? is there a specific port to open form CCC to Presentation server?

Create a registry key as follows pointing his CCC SLD and record this key on your Presentation Server. Install the SLD client and configure the service to authenticate with the CCC user .

Hi everybody,

On my side, after installing the components (following the 'Building the SAP Business One Cloud Landscape' document), when preparing the SAP B1 Cloud Landscape for use/Registering Presentation Servers, I still get this Error while registering presentation server; SLD Agent Service not found on server "SVM-W2K8R2-RDS"

notabene : in CCC > Landscape Management > SLD Agents : there is the following message : No SLD Agents currently exist.

The SLD Agent is successfully installed on the RDS, with SAPServiceB1C used to run the Service, the registry key pointing the CCC SLD has been recorded, the server has been restarted, and the servers (CCCC and RDS) can see each other.

I also tried to register the presentation server with his IP Adress instead of his name, same result.

Another question : how to install a "SLD Agent Service" on a Hana (linux) server ?

Hi Quentin,

Are you able to ping that server. If yes then try to register presentation server by IP or Server Name.

Also check that the presentation server should not be the Execution Server. If the presentation server and execution server are same then it will not allow you to register.

Hello Vincent,

There is no need to install SLD Agent Service on the Linux Server, you will only install it on the Windows.

You are supposed to install License Manager,  Backup , APP Framework, Analytics, on the Linux machine and need to install SLD Service and SLD Agent Service on the windows machine.

While installation you may choose to keep SLD Database on the HANA instance entering the details and make sure you are entering database name as SERVERIP:30015.
