choose Local currency or Groupe currency

Hi experts,

There is a query : in line there are companies'structure and in column there are 35 selection condition include different fs item and Group currency key figure. The need is to change this query , the user want to have the choice between local currency or group currency before execute the query. Do i have to create an other query ( to copy the colums structure and insert Local currency instead of GC) or there is technical solution ?

I see 3 options:

1. Create a separate query - easy but more maintenance long-term.

2. Create a second structure in the columns with two key figures - local currency and group currency; have one displayed by default and the other one hidden - let the user change the display using filtering;

3. Create a second structure in the columns with 3 key figures: local currency (hidden); group currency (hidden); result - formula using a formula variable ready for input. The user enters a variable value and based on that the formula displays either local or group currency; it is a bit cumbersome but works.
