Approve Leave Request Fiori app

Hi

I have the Approve Leave Request App working but its not showing on my custom group even though I have added the tile in the Launchpad designer. Its displaying under Manager(HCM) group together with the Approve Timesheets app which I dont want at the moment

Hi Eli,

Have you created custom group and assigned the custom group to your Role in PFCG.

For standard role, there would be already standard group assigned in the Menu tab of PFCG.

Role : SAP_HCM_BCR_MANAGER_X1

Create a copy of standard role and remove the Standard group and assign your custom group.

Let me know if this step is already completed.

I already have a custom group.  I dont have role SAP_HCM_BCR_MANAGER_X1 in the gateway system but I have SAP_HR_BCR_MANAGER_T.

This is a standard role for pfcg in gateway. Should exist. Please check the fiori app reference library/help.sap app implementation page.

Alternatively, Please create a custom role and map your fiori custom tile catalog and fiori custom group in the menu tab and assign odata user template and appropriate user and recheck.

Hi Tejas

My adminstrator is saying SAP_HCM_BCR_MANAGER_X1 is for the old Apps and SAP_HR_BCR_MANAGER_T is the new one. I have made a copy of SAP_HR_BCR_MANAGER_T and have removed the standard group and replaced it with my custom group but the app is not displaying.

This means that you have version 2 of Approve leave request.

You need to assign. SAP_HR_TCR_T to users as well.

Done and still not working and whats making it so frustrating is that i now know the solution that you gave me is the correct one. Maybe I'm missing something but thank you very much for your assistance.
