Dear Gurus,

I am upgrading Solman 7.1 sp09 to sp12

Kernel : 7.21 - 402

OS : Win.Server 2012

Ram : 16gb

Sum version : 10 - sp12

Database : Sybase 15.7.0.131

I am getting error like this ;

You could also try to patch existing kernel as well .

This would resolve your issue.

There are available in SMP for R3TRANS and TP ;

R3TRANS - Patch : 418

TP - Patch : 416

should i update these files on E:\sum\SUM\abap\exe location orD:\usr\sap\SSM\SYS\exe location ??

What's result of "R3trans -d" command?

But use this R3trans:

"E:\sum\SUM\abap\exe\R3trans.exe -d"

Is your shadow instance already shut or up?

I have restarted the phase without any changing, still it is running.

It seems something wrong with this output, should i update the R3trans and TP file ? Also should i update these files on E:\sum\SUM\abap\exe location or D:\usr\sap\SSM\SYS\exe location ??

Also it seemed to me as a kernel issue. Check whether the files under /sapmnt/SID/exe/ and /usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/ identical. They must be identical.

Since you import files into your shadow instance, you should update the kernel of your shadow instance : E:\sum\SUM\abap\exe . I see that they're 721 and R3trans has compilation date of 14.10.2014. Upgrade it with the latest version.

If possible try to use updated R3trans & tp version for the process with a complete restart of the system.

If still issue persists re-share the logs.
