use of WS-RM

Hi experts,

I understand that WS-RM is used for async( EOIO/EO )messaging which provides guaranteed one time delivery to avoid duplications and issues with

sequencing.

However does not the SOAP adapter do this by itself ( or for that matter any adapter which is used in Async communication as guaranteed delivery is ensured by PI and sequencing by using EOIO in the sender adapter )

Then what is the advantage of WS-RM?
