Need to process a 500mb file in sap pi 7.3  update me any options can we achive this?

Please provide more details. What kind of file is that, text? xml? and does it have any transformation involved?

If it is a text file and have content conversion, then you can make use of recordsets per message option.

The  file size is 3519269 kb we tested in the SAP PI 7.3 using chunk mode the time taken for processing the file is  44mins , Can any other options or any other mode can we able to process this

file app 3.5 gb either in 7.3 or 7.4 aprat from chunk mode more faster then this can we.....?

Hi Mohan,

What is the chunk size you mentioned in the channel? make it 5MB because preferable payload size in PI is 5MB.

we are doing in 7.3.chunk size mentioned in channel is 5mb . Time taken for it is 44 min.

Mi Murali,

The problem could be in your PI hardware, check the memory and CPU characteristics. Have you got the queue prioritized?, are you in single or double stack?

Hi Villa,

Yes you are right We are trying to increase the PI hardware CPU,  Memory and RAM etc to  process it less then 44 mins .And yes queue is prooritized and we are using a 7.3 Dual stack
