Hi

I would appreciate if anyone has successfully done  this......if you could give me some advise.

Are there any generic project plans that cover the generic steps you could share?

I am interested in examples of what Object based Scenarios  are available ISU utilities ...can you build up the  and combine scenarios.

If the shell brings across the SAP System data plus client specific master data.....where can you find a list of Object based Scenarios for utilities that can be copied....so you can understand what will come across in the copy  and what will not? How much can you mix and match what can come across....can combine scenarios?

I would appreciate if I can contact anyone who has TDMS 4.0 running in a SAP ISU utilities to understand the learnings from this.

Looking forward to any advise you can. My thanks in advance.

Hello Peter,

Can you please explain what do you mean by combining scenarios?

Shell brings across client independent data and makes the repository objects same in sender and receiver systems. If you want client specific master and customizing data, then we do have scenarios listed in the TDMS work centre->Portfolio->Application based Transfer->Transfer of Master Data and Customizing.

If you mean to ask if we can do a shell creation followed by object based transfer on a system, yes it is possible to do so. By doing shell creation you are harmonizing the repository objects and cross client customizing between 2 involved systems. You can then think of transferring transactional, master and customizing data to the target system by using Object based reduction scenarios.

We have 2 object based reduction scenarios for Utilities industry. One takes care of reducing the ECC system and other for CRM.

To refer to list of object based scenarios in more detail, you can refer to our guides in SMP.
