How to flash messages for ITS users (URGENT)

Hi All ,

we are working on mySAP SRM version 4.00. it has integrated ITS 6.40 in it. Now as an administrator i would like to flash some messages to all ITS users who ever logs in to the sytem .

can any one please tell me how this functionality can be implemented in ITS 6.40 .

Any documents or links relating to this would be highly appreciated .

Hi Iftekhar,

if you create a system message in the SAP system, it will be shown to any user during logon. As far as I know, it is not possible to show the message to the users that are already logged on. You may the also ask in the SRM forum.

If you send an express system message, it shoudl pop up when the user navigates to another screen..

Hi All,

we can create System Messages through R/3 which are visible for ITS users too, the SM02 messages are created only when user successfully LOG into the system .

Most of the time before flashing any important messages we do a user lock out . In that case the user will not be able to see the messages .

I would like the messages to be displayed at the logon page itself and then when user try to logon it will not log him as users are locked.

Any way to flash the messages in the lOGON page . we could do some modification in the HTML template of logon page but don't know what should be our condition to get the flash messages.

please help me its very URGENT !!!

Hi,

If you developed your own web page for different servers. Then you can able to publish any message to the current page (main page). From Main page you should redirect to different servers. In this situvation load on the ITS server is high. If your ITS server is down then you can't able to do anything (known thing). If any of your server (applicaton or db) got failed also you can display the message. You can't display as a popup message
