No entry in table T551A

Hello experts,

I am getting following error while creating set work schedule rule.

Error "No entry in table T551A" for key 55 NPWS here NPWS is my period work schedule

The actual prob is i configured all the necessary steps but when i tried to create work schedule rule im getting this error. Also, in the same screen there is one field DWS grouping initially value in this is 00 and gread mode. But after giving ES grp, holiday calander ID etc etc when i try to save that screen that value is chainging to 55 from 00.

My ES grop=2 and PS grop=2 . Is that value is my ES and PS grouping..?? or some other thing.

Request you to please help me out.

    Hi Shahbaz,

    Please go through the below document which gives step by step explanation for creation of WSRs.

    Public Holiday Calendar and Work Schedule Rules

    It also explains the concept of groupings and how the best practices.

    There is personnel subarea grouping for DWS and personnel subarea grouping for WSR. There has to be a link between them. Also, the personnel subarea grouping is used for DWS, PWS and WSR.

    I would recommend that you keep the same personnel subarea grouping for DWS, PWS and WSR as explained in the document.

    As far i understand error is saying that with grouping 55 NPWS period work schedule is not exist check whether you have configured PWS or not with the right grouping.

    In which process/step is this problem being found? Is it in time eval or payroll?

    In leave provision calculation (in payroll run), it is possible that it may be trying to get the time results for the next 12months and may not be able to find the WS in a future month. Usually WS is generated for 12m or more (in PT01 txn).

    I

    t is also possible when time eval or payroll is retro'ed it may not find the WS for a past period.

    In txn PT02, display the work schedule and go to the particular month/year where the problem is occurring. If it is absent, then it has to be generated.

    Hi Shahbaz !

    Check your Grouping in Personnel Subarea groupings & Daily Work Schedule grouping.

    Because of the mismatch it is giving you error.
