Precautions before enhancing 2LIS datasource

Hi All,

I have to change a LIS datasource to include (enhance) a few fields to the existing comm structure. What are the steps i need to follow not to screw up and to make it work without effecting other datasources before i enhance the structure.

Any help is appreciated and will be fully rewarded.

Hi Maverick,

1.Then you need to add the new fields at extract structure of data source.

2.After create a project using T.code CMOD and then assign the enhancement (RSAP0001 BW Data Extraction: Customer Function)

3. Then go to T.code SMOD open the EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001 Function exit here you need write a ABAP coding on that data source to fetch the data from relevant tables.
