SAP Smart business modeler : Cannot load tile

Hi all,

We installed SAP smart business modeler by adding the necessary add-on side front-end server and also imported the delivery unit side Hana database. We created one user on the front-end server and another on Hana and we assigned them the necessary roles. However we encounter the error (can not load tile) when we launch FIORI launchpad.

You will find attached the screenshot of the error.

I want to know if the single sign-on between hana and S4HANA is mandatory and also the installation of the webdispatcher.

We’re on SAP S/4HANA 1610 and SAP HANA 1.00.121.00.1466466057

Hi,

Please check the brower network tab to see which network call is failing. If any such calls are failing, try to open the URL separately in the browser and check whether the call is able to fetch data.

Webdispatcher is required for smart business applications based on XS OData services; otherwise you need to disable the web security of your browser(should be used only for testing purpose).

Hi,

I got the same problem - I try diffent things:

• three different business systems with different database
• three different browsers - on local desktop and in SAP WTS
• in trial and ondemand account - nothing works.

The descption in online help of the service is unsatisfying.

Every time the browsor console is full of errors by creation of evaluation - like " Assertation failed" - "XML errors & TypeErrors" - Error Popup with message "Error by loading of parameters - missing the OData4SAP-Annotation" and so on.
