Subreports in Group Headers in a Column Format

I'm still trying to figure out how to make this work, and was hoping someone had some ideas. I've got a report with 4 subreports all stacked nice and neat in Group Headers. I now need to find a way to have a 5th subreport appear to the right of the other 4. My first thought was with columns, but that only works in the Details section. I don't think it would work to put the 5th subreport in a 5th Group Header and then Underlay the first 4 Group Headers, as then they would all be overlapping each other.

Basically, what I want the report to look like is this:

Any advice on how to do this would be great. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I may have found another solution, though both of the ones given here would also likely do the trick. I ended up inserting a new Group Header, moved it between my 4th and 5th Group Headers with the subreports, and then had my new empty Group Header print at bottom of page. It forced the last Group Header with my larger subport over into the right column. So far it looks to be working.

Hi,

It appears that the placement of sub reports in the group headers is due to a linked subreport. If thats not the case then each of the subreports can be placed in the report header or footer according to required format.

If these are linked subreports, then its suitable to fetch the required data from the database in the required format.

A database view can be created for each SQL. These views can be pulled into a single report while taking care not to join them in the

linking expert.

Once the columns are available, they can be placed side-by-side. It is important to avoid the cartesian product, though.

It would help if you elaborate with data.

Thanks

Hi Ahren,

If you place the 5th subreport on the Report Header and set 'underlay following sections' for this section, you should get what you're looking for.
