Dear gurus,
I have a query with one characteristic in rows section marked as "No Display" (in Query designer > right click on the characteristc in rows > choose properties > Display as: No Dispaly.
However, when this query is executed with standard web template 0ADHOC, the above characteristic is shown in the Rows section on the web report (on the left side together with free char, columns). so, someone can potentailly right click on the characteristic here and change the properties to Dispaly the Key or text (which I dont want)
Pls advise how to make this characteristic not appear in the rows section on the web report.
Thanks
AtlaJ
Hi All
I solved this by creating another infoobject without attributes (IO2) and used this as a navigational attribute of the origional infoobject (IO1). In all the reports, I use IO2 instead of IO1 and I have no problems with the attributes any more !

If you set the option "No Display" it will suppress the display of the values but not prevent it from displaying in the nav block. If you want this not to be displayed in the Nav block move the char to the Filter area of the query.
Thanks.

Hi,
The query is saved correctly with the "No display" property set. I am wondering why this characteristic is still appearing in the "Rows" Section of the "navigation bar" when executed in Web.
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Generally aftersetting the property as no display it will not display the values. Check whether you have saved the query or not. Sometimes the changes made may not be saved.
