.@ranjanprj not sure i understand the requirement,

TypeScript is a superset of JavaScript, #UI5 needs to lose JQuery dep to support ES6

A couple more interactions later and @Denise Nepraunig suggested we start an SCN discussion on Typescript, jQuery and ES6 support in UI5
