Hi All,
Thank you for reading my question.
Though I think that I already set customizing for batch determination of backflush,
batch determination doesn't work automatically.
When I push the button "Batch Determination" in TRCD:CO11N,
appropriate batch and available quantity are displayed on the list.
However, when I save the Time Ticket for production order without pushing the button
"Batch Determination" in TRCD:CO11N,
COGI error occurs because the batch determination doesn't work.
As the batch list is displayed when I push the "Batch Determination",
it looks like the setting is enough.
What should I do to make the batch determination work without pushing the button?
Best regards,
Mei
Hi, Kiran and Rupesh,
Thank you for your advice.
Following your advice, batch determination could work automatically .
Thank you so much .
By the way,
when batch determination works automatically,
batch in restricted-use stock is assigned.
Is this a normal outcome?
Or, is there something lack of setting?
Best regards,
Mei

Hello Mei,
If you have activated batch status management then you can restrict it in OMCG for 261 movement type.
Add characteristic LOBM_ZUSTD to batch and selection class if you want to select batches based on status
Also on In the Customizing Transaction OMCQ, the messages M7 665 or M7 670 set as error messages E
Refer KBA 1898563 - LO-BM : Batch determination return restricted batch

Hello Mei,
You need to calssify your existing batches for LOBM_ZUSTD characteristic you can do it through MSC2N or MSC5N.
To update the existing batches, run report ZVBRECLB, see note 78235
Also your sort sequence should have characteristic LOBM_ZUSTD also material master should have the class with LOBM_ZUSTD characteristic.
In OMCT plant batch status management should be activated.

Hello Mei,
OPJ2 is for production/process order confirmation (backflushing) by activating BD flag in OPJ2 it will happen automatically.
Please refer KBA 1692221 - No automatic batch determination for components during production order/process order confirmation

Megumi,
Go to OPJ2 transaction and Set the indicator for BD(Batch Determination).
