I want calculate sampling size by quantity of purchase order (200 in this case).

I need my sample size is 32 in totally (200 = 32 according to the table above) with two Inspection Lot's or one.

Hi,

Whatever you have maintained in the Sampling scheme, will be used to calculate the sample size on the basis of GR quantity (or inspection lot quantity).

For instance, sample size will be 32 units whenever you do a GR upto 280 units. So I would say YES, this is possible and no other option is required.

Since you feel your English might impact the actual query, so I'll try to rephrase it.

If you're looking to calculate the sample size on the basis of PO quantity but not GR quantity, I'm afraid if something is there to do that calculation. Your sample size is always calculated on the basis of Inspection lot quantity/ or the respective sampling procedure (Sampling scheme in your case).

If there is something wrong with my understanding, kindly revert!

I think is it. How I can do that?

Best Regards.

Well I didn't get it.

But if you want, for instance, sample size of 32 for an inspection lot size upto 280, make a sampling procedure using QDV1 and assign the above given sampling scheme into that sampling procedure.

Later, when you create the inspection plan, assign the sampling procedure to all/ relevant MICs.

After all these settings are done, you'll get the sample size as per the sampling scheme maintained whenever you make a good receipt.
