Lo-Delta Update!

Hi Gurus!

I supposed to Delta Update from r/3 and my Init Delata process was deleted unfortunately,what happens now in the sense what changes occurs in the source system and from where i need to start now........help would be appriciated...

Hello Sunil,

if u have deleted the init request from the cube, u won't have data for the same in the cube!!

First check if the init flag still exist. For this go in the infopckge-> scheduler-> init flags.

if it exists and is not deleted, u can either load data with the same selections (as u did for init)with update type as full update. This will bring in all the data again in the cube which got deleted.

As the init flag still exists, u can schedule delta by scheduling a infopackage with delta update option.

if this is a LO datasource, then u need to ensure the V3 run before the delta upload in BW.

Hi sunil,

Could you give me more information regarding where you had deleted the initialization from BW or R/3.

And any delta update you had done after initialization.

At infopackage level i have deleted that one and till i havent done any deltas.

Hi Sunil,

So you didn't delete the initialize request from Data mart and at Source system.

Then go to T.code RSA7 and check the data source was exit or not. If the data source exit then you can fetch the data by delta update method other wise again you need to initialize it..
