CR 2011, BO (CMC) and Share Point

I am hoping for a simple solution (if one exists) to have a report created in CR 2011 be sent to a Share Point folder.

I created a report in 2011 and it works great.  I have uploaded the report to our BO (via the CMC) and have it emailed to myself (in Excel form).  That also works great.

What I am trying to do now is 'schedule' a delivery of the file to a specific directory on our companies Share Point site so the multiple people can access the file when needed...is it possible to have BO send the excel file to a specified directory on Share Point.  I did try using the File System option under Destination and copied/pasted the web address to the Share Point folder and that failed.

Any help as always is appreciated.

It is possible to schedule to file in any location on the network, using one of the following configurations:

- The Server Intelligence Agent (SIA) should be run using a network "services" account (the password doesn't change or only changes very rarely.  In this case, the services account needs to have read/write access to the folder where the file will be exported.

- The schedule is run as a specific network account that has access to the folder.  The problem with this configuration is that the report has to be rescheduled every time the password on this account changes.

So using the File System is the correct method?

For the user name and password, I need to use my network credentials and not the BO credentials, correct. In my case these credentials are different

Thanks

If SharePoint will automatically pick it up from the folder, then yes.  You would use your network credentials, however, best practice is to run the SIA under a service account and give that account access to the folder.  This way you don't have to enter any credentials when you schedule and your schedule does not have to be recreated any time your network password changes.

Thanks - I will check with my IT staff regarding the SIA functionality. If I have additional questions, I will post here
