Post Processing Office Workflow Customization

I am new to workflow and I had a requirement. In my project all the messages go and save into Post Processing Office(PPO) (Tcode - /SAPPO/PPO3). Now I want to do a customization such that the message that are getting saved in PPO should go into the concerned person's inbox. Please let me know if any one worked on this or have any document on this.

How new to workflow exactly are you? Did you attend a SAP course, or did you self learn it by following the SAP Workflow tutorials on help.sap.com and reading the SAP workflow book?

What you normally do is

1. find out if this business scenario exist in sap, in that case activate and you're done if not check next steps

2. find out if events occur when you execute your transaction

3 find out if you can create an event by change docs, NACE, BSVW, BTE or other

4. find out where you can implement your logic for creating an event (badi, exit, etc.)

Then you create your workflow with whatever dialog steps you want in it and link to your event.
