KM Documents: Editing Locally

When logged on as administrator I can choose to edit a document locally. However, I'm trying to setup a new user to access KM and this specific document and when they choose EDIT LOCALLY they get the following error message;

"Loading...If your application does not start, your local settings may be preventing you from editing locally."

This makes me think it's ROLE related but I'm not sure which role to even try assigning to the new user.

if you are using java plug-in please see the SAP-Note: 879494

we had similar problem and after the correction it was solved.

I figured it out. I was using a Netscape browser for the new user and it does not seem to be supported. When I tried the new user with Internet Explorer everything worked fine.
