I created SWCV inSLD  When I try to impport i to ESR, i am unable to do that.

SXI_CACHE, cache notifications are not working.

I have not created TS and BS for PI. Is it done first then only we can import SWCV to PI. It's a fresh dual stack PI system and 7.40

Hi Midhun,

SWCV not displaying in ESR - check below note (it can be because of user roles missing)

http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/720198

Roles required:-

SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR

SAP_SLD_DEVELOPER

SAP_SLD_ORGANIZER

TS and BS manually-

You can always create TS and BS manually (irrespective of single or dual stack). But, best practice is to push the system into SLD and create the business system manually as per below blog:

Hi,

When you have created SWCV in SLD, open ESR then go to Environment -> Clear SLD Data Cache. After clearing the SLD cache, that will only be the time that you'll be able to import the SWCV.

Hi,

What do you mean by

Do I have to create TS and BS manually in dual stack PI 7.4?

If your goal is just to import SWCV in ESR, then no.

I am asking for rest of the development. In PI single stack, it was automtatically created TS for PI. How about in dual stack PI? manually we need to configure?

Hi Midhun,

Yes, your basis team / admin, should create the corresponding TS and BS in SLD.

Check the following for more info:

Hi Midhun,

I think you need to do the readiness check after the installation then you will know all missing configurations and problems in the system, please go through the below note and check the system according to the note.

817920 - XI/PI/AEX Readiness Check 3.0/7.0, 7.1, 7.3, 7.31, 7.4
