Data packets missing in Delta load

Former Member

Hello Experts,

I am having an issue with a Delta load. This Delta load has two packages missing in it. Attached screen shot shows clearly that the packages 199 and 200 are missing from the request. The same is shown in the messages for the load, also shown in the attachment. As a result, the subsequent successful Deltas are in the pipeline, but in an inactive state. Please advise how to resolve this.

Many thanks,

Arnab

Hi,

Please do repeat delta - if this step is in the Process chain,  make this request red and repeat the step.

Thanks,

Hello Akansha,

Can you guide me on how to carry out the Repeat Delta? For your information, the system is BW 3.x.

Hi Arnab,

Make the bad request red and delete it from the target.

Again trigger the infopackage-you will get a pop up saying last delta was incorrect-

continue by clicking Request again.

You can also go through below link for 3.x flow -

Hi Arnab,

if repeated delta also field then you need to do selective loads which is time consume one.

Better find what is the exact error.

please first check your info pack job was completed at source side or not.

if its completed at source side then follow above my approach to load missed data packages instead whole load.

Thanks

Hi Arnab,

You can process failed two data packets only.

Go to same above info pack monitor screen..

Menu Edit-->init updating-->settings for further update--> packets should be process in the background.

Mean while cross check at source system SM58 and keep on refresh.

Thanks

Hello Arnab,

In the Monitor -> Details Tab can you check at what point/node you see red request?

Extraction Node - This suggests that the load failed which extraction from source and you will have to check for tRFC and Job log in source system

Transfer (IDOC & tRFC) - Suggests that the IDOCS might not have been processed from source, BASIS will help if you dont have much idea on this

Processing (data Packet) - Suggest the extraction job completed in source but it might be due to transfer rule the data request is failing

Thanks

Hello Abhishek,

The Red ststaus appears in the Transfer node. What should i ask the BASIS team to look into? In the meantime, what is it that i must do in the BW system?

Hi Arnab,

Check for any Trfc got stuck , use BD87 to check the IDOC status, if any are pending you can process them. Also see any shortdump happened in ST22 at that time.

Thanks,

Vengal.

Hi Arnab,

Goto T-Code SM58 in source system and check for the failures.

or Job overview in source system.
