Results for pooled sample for various lots

Hi experts

We receive raw material in partial quantities for a PO.We do a partial GR for each truck we receive.Inspection type 01 is active.Inspection Lot is created for each of these partial GR's.

Some of the tests(MIC's) Results are entered for each Inspection lot.For some MIC's the sample for various inspection lots are mixed and tests are performed.When we pool these samples then how to map this scenario?

Hi

Make MIC as long term for which you want to record the result later.  As result of Long terms MIC can be recorded after UD.

Do the pooled sampling outside the system and when result are obtained put those result into left chars of those lot for which you have made a pooled sample.

The pooled samples are obtained from various inspection lots.

Issue is to which lot it is to be tagged

Hi

May be this ideal can work for you.

1. Make a new manual inspection type or use 89 for checking of pooled samples.Activate that inspection type.

2.Make inspection plan with freely defined inspection point 100. and Use inspection lot as inspection point and Use sampling procedure with suitable frequency(Max. number of lots from which sample can be drawn.)

3.Make a manual inspection lot put inspection lot qty equal to the sum of sample qty of various inspection lot.

4. Do the result recording.
