Can I forward EWA Report from Customer's Solution manager to VAR Solution Manager

Hi All,

According to "Activating SAP EWA in End Customer's System for VARs",

it only creates RFC from End Customer's system to VAR Solution Manager.

If i configure it, end customer's solution manager will not receive EWA Report.

Both End Customer's and VAR need EWA report.

Is it possible to forward EWA Report from Customer's Solution manager to VAR Solution Manager?

    Hi Torben,

    It is not possible to forward an already generated EWA report from the customer Solution Manager to the VAR Solution Manager, however, it is possible to generate the EWA on both.

    The SDCCN will contain RFC pointing back to both Solution Managers and the maintenance package task will look for EWA sessions in both and will start the data collection.

    The Master RFC will point to one Solution Manager only(in the SDCCN of the managed system), but the processing will take place without problems.

      Hi Torben,

      1. Yes, if you run the managed system setup from another Solution Manager, the Master RFC will be changed. However, you can access the SDCCN in the managed system, choose Goto > Settings > Task-Specific > RFC Destinations > Settings > here you can define which system/RFC is to be the master.

      2. Installing the agents and running the managed system setup should be enough.
