Can anyone help me in understanding about whether a fiori / UI5 already applied to standard SAP Work Manager 6.4? Or planned in Work Manager 7.0?

Can you please help me with work manager 6.4 installation guide?

The installation guides are published on the Support portal under https://service.sap.com/instguides.

Then using the navigation drill down through SAP Mobile > SAP Work Manager > SAP Work Manager 6.4 and the guides are at the bottom of the page.

Work Manager is built on Agentry but with the latest SAP EAM and service mobile SDK there is a UI5 Open UI control you can add into the client to display UI5 content. The SDK includes a few samples as well to get you started but isn't particularly documented in terms of a step by step on how to integrate with your application. I would suggest loading the samples and getting them running first to begin understanding what you can do.

Hi Bill,

We’re told that Work Manager 6.4 includes Open UI Control – does this require any additional installation on the back-end or on SMP to enable it?

Do we need any additional development kits to be activated within the Agentry client development stack?

Regards,

Sanjoy

The Open UI controls are packaged separately in the SAP EAM and service mobile SDK. You do not need to install anything extra on the backend but may need to adjust configuration setting in the add-on to enable certainly functionality.

On the SMP server side there is nothing needed but on the Agentry client you will need to compile the client to include the desired Open UI controls from the SAP EAM and service mobile SDK. There is an installation guide for the SDK that includes the specific steps and additional SDK/libraries needed for this. This is a required step if you want to utilize OpenUI controls in your application (or the Work Manager ones pre-built).

Hi Bill,

We are working on Work Manager 6.4 and looking for the feasibility if this can be integrated with UI5.

Can you please share the location of the document as mentioned by you ( installation guide for the SDK ).

We could not find any information regarding the integration of UI5 with work manager or syclo applications.

Please guide

Thanks and Regards
