Hi Experts,

I need to change some code on some smart form. When i tried to change it, a message is coming which says, "Logon language differs from the original language." So what step need to be taken maintain in original language or logon langauge . (Orig Lang is TR and logon language is EN). I only need to fine tune a code block and no text.

Hi Sam,

Few smartforms are maintained in different language other than 'EN'. Consider If they are maintained arabic language, then the format is Right to Left. Normal format is Left to Right. To maintain the arabic text, they login via 'AR'.

If you are planning to do any change in 'EN' language, you can login in your language 'EN' itself. Download the smartform, before doing the change.

Hi Sam,

When a smartform is created under GlobalSettings->Form Attributes we can see below Language

related options.

In your case smartform is maintained in multiple languages. So when you make changes it should be language specific it means changes made in one language will not affect the other language form.

So if you are looking for changes in EN language then login to you SAP Client in EN language and make necessary changes.

I do not need to change any text, I just need to change some code which do not have any relevance with the text. So what should i do ?

Hi Sam,

If we are going to change the code, we can use 'EN' Logon language itself, there won't be any problem.
