Bank swipe in interface

Hello everyone,

I have a requirement. Customers buy goods at a shop and swipes card. This information should go to bank. The bank will send the information back and it should be updated in SAP system. How can PI be used effectively in this scenario? It's a feasibility study.

The swiping is done by a machine and I think the data is send directly to Bank.

In my current project we are dealing with same kind of interfaces.

Here, we have used SAP PI between the payment gateway and sap ecc

Can you give more details regarding this? What format data is flowing between Payment gateway and ECC? What are the adapters you used?

By Payment gateway, do you mean the info moving from bank to ECC?

Hi,

Scenario can be described once after knowing sender system's data format so better if you can ask to your sender party that in which format they will provide/send data to PI based on that you will be able to choose the sender adapter.

At ECC side obviously you can use RFC/IDOC adapter.
