Change the query for PLD SBO 9.0

Hello,

I know there are bunch of posts out there for changing the query for a PLD, but it seems like I have to create the PLD all over from scratch?

I want to make a minor change to the selection criteria in the query and I don't want to recreate the whole PLD from the beginning.

I would like to somehow copy the old PLD onto the new query.

There is no option to do so. If you had read my book, I have already explained this topic in detail.

In your book it talks about changing templates so I was hoping someone would have scheme for converting QPLD to templates, then you could just use the template on the report. For all of the slick things you can do in SAP BO, this part of the system seems very archaic. We are on version 9.0 PL08. Does the PLD section get improved in the newer patches?

PLD is a very simple tool. So does the QPLD that is depending on it. I am afraid there is no option for SAP to do anything but promoting Crystal Report instead.
