ChaRM - How can we set default values for a field in the Request for Change

Hi,

In the Request for Change there is the field Sold-To-Party which can be found under the heading General Data.  The entry in this field is the Sold-To-Party value for the organisation. This is usually the same from Request to Request. Is there any way in which we can put the Sold-to-Party number as a default in this field ? This will save the user the trouble of keying in this value each time.

Secondly under the Heading titled Change Planning in the Request for Change, there is another field labeled "Approval Procedure", the value  of this field is selected from a drop down box. The default value of this field is the Blank entry. Supposing there are one  more additional entries in this field and I would like to make that one the default setting . How can this be done ?

Regards,

Vinod.

Hi Krishan,

For approval procedure

Please proceed as follow. Define the default values.

and define sold to party in access sequence (Partner Determine procedures)

Hi,

I have done the settings for the Approval procedure the way you have mentioned. However when the Approval Procedure field appears on the screen in the RfC, the value is blank. The dropdown needs to be clicked and "Change Approval Procedure" needs to be selected.  The value "Change Approval Procedure" needs to appear directly on the screen so that the user need not manually select it each time.

In the case of the Sold-To-Party, I have tried various options of the Access procedure however the value of the Sold-To -Party does not automatically appear in the Sold-To-Party field in the RfC
