How to block other users from running the job?

With the properly maintained authorizations and the user allowed only for the job, there are users who can still run the job created by others. Is there any other way on maintaining the authorization for the jobs? Thank you.

How many ways do you need and what exactly is the problem?

Hi Jelena,

The problem is that I have created a job, but somebody else run it.

Then don't give "somebody else" authorization. Still don't see what is a problem exactly...

Hi Jelena,

it is an auth issue in the roles of the concerned user. Please check if someone of the users have S_BTCH_ADM authorization in the roles. Also check S_BTCH_JOB.

Best regards,

Stephan

Hi Jenelyn,

Without understanding your authorizations setup, we can't really help much with this. It's entirely possible (and apparently likely) that there are roles in your system that grant the authorization to release jobs for more than just oneself, and these others are probably in one of those roles. If you feel that this is incorrect, you should speak with the authorizations administrator for your system and ask them to investigate the roles and authorizations of the users in question.

Cheers,
Matt
