Design Studio constantly crashes on launchpad

Hello

I have created one document using design studio and saved on BOBI server.

When i tried to open document using launchpad it's not working.

I have already installed Design studio add-on on server as well as redeployed war file as well as Created Analytical server

Error message

Error while generating data provider.

While processing current request, an exception occurred which could not be handled by the application or the framework.

What version of BO Server are you on ?  Im on 4.1 SP5 and do not get the issue .

Hello Tony,

I am on SAP BO 4.1 SP4 patch 2 but i have tried same on 4.1 SP5 patch1 but getting same error.

Any server configuration is needed after installation of Design studio add-on.

Did you the check the APS logs (APS hosting Analysis services)

I also same issue then re-install the DS setup on server and after that it was working properly.

I have reinstalled DS setup on server as well as my APS hosting Analysis services. but still getting same issue on 4.1 SP4 pathc2

thís screen is generic - you need to check for the exception under this ID.

Atul - depending on the version you are using, I recommend searching SAP Notes for a solution (support.sap.com/notes)

As an example, note Note 1948311:Error while generating data provider: Design Studio Application in BI Platform … is a resolution for Design Studio 1.2

Yes Tammy, I have checked  1948311 - Error while generating data provider: Design Studio Application in BI Platform  and 2069544 - Usage of Universes as Data Sources in Design Studio notes but no use

I thnik in note number 1948311  "-Dbusinessobjects.connectivity.directory=C:/Program Files (x86)/SAP BusinessObjects/SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0//dataAccess/connectionServer" // after XI4.0 is added wrongly i think only singel / is required.

I tried with both but still not getting output.

If you have looked at all notes, and they don't work, it might be time to open an incident with SAP Support.
