Material cost not include in plan cost

Hello Team,

I had created a customer project. In my project I had assign material , internal and external activity. While doing Planning in CJ40 only internal activity cost come as plan cost no material and external activity cost come. I had check OPSV, indicator is active. In costing variant procedure is maintain. Cost is maintain material master. Then why material cost and external activity cost not include in plan cost of WBS in CJ40

Hi lalitha,

As mentioned in the above posts, plan values can also come as a result of some material component attached to the activity, work center attached in the activity, through costs activity etc. Please check and see if any of these things are there in your project structure.

After you do some planning in CJ40 or CJR3. then it will update the plan cost.

Costing chapter for better understanding to post it by CO forum, before that i can suggest some check point if helpful.

OKK4 check valuation variant and costing variant what parameter is there

and component cost structure.

even check below thread definitely help u to know the reason.

Hi Lalita,

check if you have maintained value categories or not.

this is important for cost to be calculated.

also check costing variants.
