OCI Connection from SRM to punchout catalog is failing

Hi SRM experts

I have implemented an OCI punchout catalog for a customer. The implementation is working in our internal network, however when customers are trying to connect to the catalog from an SRM system outside our network it is failing.

The catalog is implemented with asp .net and federation authentication which relies on a cookie called FedAuth.

According to the fiddler log this cookie is not persisted in the browser.

Does anybody of you have any idea why the cookie is disappearing?

Does SRM require a certain browser setting or is it some catalog configuration that I am missing?

The customer is running

SAP Webportal 7.00

and SAP SRM Version 7.0 EHP2
