The documentation (section 4.2 etc) is a little confusing regarding guidelines for sending the NEW_ITEM-LONGTEXT field.

It seems to indicate that it should either be limited to 132 character or split up or limited to 132 character lines.

For example, the 'n' in NEW-ITEM_DESCRIPTION[n] is for the item number but in that the field is unlimited, which make me wonder what the '132' is for.

Could someone clarify? An example would be best if possible.

Hi,

Longtext length is unlimited, NEW_ITEM-LONGTEXT_n:132[] field ensures that if the field passes 500 characters then internally these will be split into 132 char lines and recombined for UI display.
