Error ' You are not Authorized to create the Request ' while raising request using Template Based request in NWBC

Hello All,

There are some random times that some of the end users are facing problems to raise Access requests using Template Based Request in NWBC.

After facing this error, the users closes the browser - refreshes the system and when the user tries to raise the Access request again  using Template Based Request in NWBC , the user is allowed to Raise the request successfully. So I feel this is not an Authorization issue.

Please find the below screenshot for the error which users face while trying to raise requests using Template Based Request in NWBC :

The users face this issue rarely and only few of the users face such an issue. But this issue needs to be resolved.

Please help me know the reason behind occurence of such an issue.

Roles assigned to the user who was facing this error are as follows :

Please suggest.

Regards,

Rahul Muni

Hi Rahul,

That might be because of browser cookies. And there is not alternate for stored browser cookies. The only thing is user must close all the browser sessions and access that screen.

Thanks

Hello KH

Thanks for your response.

But is this the case with all versions of IE browsers s or would this be because of using old internet version.

In this case we can suggest the users to use latest internet version.

Rahul

Hi Rahul,

Can you please check the Logs in SLG1? that might be helpful. Also are you facing this issue with all the users?

Hello Japneet,

I will check the SLG1 logs but as this being a very rare issue it becomes difficult to trace the same.

Also, this issue is being faced by only few users that too only some times.

Hi Rahul -

Curious if you were ever able to resolve your issue here.  I'm seeing the same thing at a current client.

Thanks,

Kevin

Hello Rahul,

It must be with cookies,  if you would like to test open browser for GRC and other portal as well.

would be great if you could let us know if user is trying to submit identical request or any other type after closing the browser and opening a new one.

Hi Prasant -

Looks like the trend at my client is when the user doesn't exist in production ECC (brand new user).  Any thoughts on this?

Thanks,

Kevin

Hello Kevin,

it does not really effect while raising request.

as user logon to end user URL and it can get authenticated using LDAP or any other system.

would require little more details like error screenshot
