Problems while extracting data from ms sql server to txt-file

15 Views

Hello!

In my abap i've inserted the attached code below to export via cmd-file / sql-script data from a ms sql server database into a txt-file.

In the database there names with the german umlauts. In my txt-file i miss the umlauts - if only unreadable characters at the umlaut-positions.

What can i do in this case? Code-tables...? How can i prevent?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Best regards,

Ingo

. . .

call method cl_gui_frontend_services=>execute

exporting

application = '' " 'cmd.exe'

parameter = '' " 'c: empshtx.cmd'

document = 'c: empshtx.cmd'

default_directory = 'c: emp'

operation = 'open'

synchronous = 'X'

. . .

The content of the cmd-file:

start osql -Sservername -Uuserid -Ppassword -test.sql -otest.txt

The content of the sql-script:

select * from smokna1shtold where name1 = 'Müller'
